August 12th news, today, HTC today announced the acquisition of high-end Headset businessBeats Electronics ("Beats") the majority of the shares, the price is $300000000.

At the news conference, HTC CEO Chou and Interscope record company chairman Jimmy Ayowen (Jimmy Iovine) both appearance.

Mr. Chou said: "we are very pleased to announce the partnership. We plan to 'quality'introduced in mobile phone...... Design quality has always been a priority for HTC. When we met Beats, they in the field of music professional knowledge and technology impressed us......The Beats team to understand the music really, really understand music experience."
